How do Line8 power tracks work?
Line8 Power Tracks are designed to allow users to add, remove, and reposition power sockets freely and safely, with the capacity to hold at least 14 sockets per meter.
These tracks function like miniature bus bars, adapted for interior use. The tap-off circuit connection method, used by electricians to distribute power in homes, reduces the risk of overload compared to multi-plug or extension plugs.
Is it safe for use in Australia?
Yes, the power tracks are certified with AS/NZS 3100 and AS/NZS 3122 certifications, and are approved by the EESS bearing RCM marks for safe use in Australia.
Do you provide installation service?
We can assist you with arranging a licenced electrician in your area to install the power tracks. Please send us an email at info@line8.au to request for our assistance. However, you could also arrange your own electrician for installation by simply referring them to the installation guides listed here.
How do I Install the surface power tracks?
A step by step guide for installation of the tracks can be found here.
It will take only a few basic tools which most households or electricians have, and about 5 minutes to install the power track.
You may wish to engage a licenced electrician to help with your power track installations.
